Effective on August 1st, 2005, the Agricultural Futures Exchange of Thailand will change the symbols of White Rice 5% and Rubber Ribbed Smoked Sheets No. 3 which are traded on the exchange. The changes will be as follows:
Product Previous Symbol New Symbol
1) White Rice 5% Broken WR WR5
2) Rubber Ribbed Smoked Sheets No. 3 RU RSS3
Therefore :
White Rice 5% Broken contract delivery in July 2005 : WR50507
Rubber Ribbed Smoked Sheets No. 3 contract delivery in November 2006 : RSS30611
These changes will affect all electronic data dissemination and publications produced by the Agricultural Futures Exchange of Thailand.
