When the Life of an Original CSI Member was at Stake, Another in Miami takes a Bullet!
CSI: Miami returns for its 3rd in August, First and Exclusively on AXN!
On AXN (Ch.19, UBC), the heart of action and adventure television, the invincible CSI team in Miami finally takes a hit. Be sure not to miss the explosive deadly premiere episode of the third season of CSI: Miami, opening with the “Lost Son” (episode nominated for the Emmy Award). From the award winning CSI franchise comes the thrilling return of the third season of CSI: Miami, starting 3rd August 2005, 10 pm, first and exclusively on AXN!
Bagging more than 10 other awards and 8 different nominations since the introduction of this CSI spin-off in 2003, CSI: Miami has garnered many fans through its own unique team characteristics, with Horatio Caine (David Caruso) leading his team of CSIs to work amid the steamy, tropical surroundings and cultural crossroads of Miami. With its intelligent plots, featuring the latest technology and scientific equipment used by real-life crime investigators, the series takes place in South Florida where the forensic team fuses both cutting edge scientific methods and traditional police working styles to analyze and represent victims who cannot speak for themselves.
In the explosive first episode of the season three, a murder is discovered onboard a crashed yacht with a victim has a bullet through his head. Following the evidence that leads to the victim’s wife, the CSIs uncover a delicate plot involving fake jewelry and an elaborate kidnapping of the victim’s son. In the thick of investigations, the CSIs catch themselves in a situation that turns very sour as bullets start to fly. A team member takes a hit and goes down in the line of duty. Furious with grief and the lack of time to solve the crime, the team has to pull together as they perform their duty and mourn for the sudden loss of their colleague and friend.
The season then moves on as the lives of the CSI members get intertwined with the cases they pick up. Calleigh realizes that her father may become implicated in a case while Horatio is haunted by the loss of his brother, Raymond. Including harrowing episodes featuring a tsunami and fires raging in the Everglades, all is not gloom as Horatio finds himself in an unexpected twist of fate and a new member joins the team. Later, don’t miss the thrilling end to this new season as a cliffhanger will be on the menu which will determine the fate of the team.
CSI: Miami stars a strong cast, namely: David Caruso as Horatio Caine, Emily Procter as Calleigh Duquesne, Rory Cochrane as Tim Speedle, Adam Rodriguez as Eric Delko and Khandi Alexander as Alexx Woods.
CSI: Miami (Season 3) premieres on Wednesday 3rd August 2005 at 10pm. Repeat broadcasts on Thur at 2am & 3pm, Sun at 2pm & 11pm and Mon at 4am.
