Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra today presided over the opening ceremony of the new plant of Thai Olefins Public Company Limited (TOC) at Mab Ta Put Industrial Estate, Rayong province. Welcoming him are Mr. Manu Leopairote, Chairman, and Mr. Aditheb Bisalbutr, President and CEO, and executives of Thai Olefins Plc.
Thai Olefins Public Company Limited was established in 1990. It is Thailand’s leading producer of ethylene, propylene and other petrochemical by-products namely PYGAS, Mixed C4, Tail Gas, Cracker Bottom and Hydrogen. Its plant is located in Mab Ta Phut Industrial Estate in Rayong province and has a nameplate capacity of 685,000 tons per year of ethylene and 240,000 tons of propylene per year.
