Bangkok--Aug 25--Veraz Networks
Earlier today, Veraz Networks announced that its media gateways and softswitches had been deployed by Cable and Wireless, impacting 600,000 pre-paid residential and calling card subscribers in Panama.
This is the first solution of its kind for Latin America and will allow Cable & Wireless’s subscribers to have access to a wide range of new applications including pre-paid local service and Internet access (ADSL) to homes and kiosks. This deployment also demonstrates Veraz’s effectiveness to provide end-to-end solutions along with other third-party vendors to carriers around the world based on its open architecture.
