Ford Thailand kicks off “Focus VIP Day” which runs throughout the month of September, opening opportunities for Ford customers and young generation Thais to feel, touch, and experience the all new Focus before anyone else. The event will be held at various Ford showrooms in three major routes including North, Northeast and South of Thailand before it ends in Bangkok.
Mr. John Fink, Executive Vice President of Ford Thailand, said: “Ford Focus is one of the most successful nameplates in Ford’s history with over five million units having been sold from the time the original Focus was launched. Focus is the all-time best seller because of its superior driving quality and excellent German engineering which is proven in its powerful engine and outstanding suspension. The all new Focus continues to maintain these key features, which we believe will impress Thai customers who have a chance to test drive the car at Focus VIP Day before we officially launch the vehicle shortly.”
Focus VIP Day will run every weekend from September 2-25, 2005. In this event, Ford will bring the all new Focus to customers in different provinces to feel, touch and test drive. The event will be held only for one full day for each province in the North, Northeast and South of Thailand. By the end of each week, customers in 9-12 provinces will have this privilege to experience the modern icon.
In the first week, from September 2-4, 2005, Ford’s Focus VIP Day will be held in
- North: Chiang Rai, Lampang and Chiang Mai
- Northeast: Sakon Nakhon, Udon Thani and Khon Kaen
- South: Somgkhla, Phatthalung and Nakhon Si Thammarat
In the following weeks, the Focus VIP Day caravan will travel back to Bangkok and stop in big cities along the way including Sukhothai, Phitsanulok, Nakhon Sawan, Ubon Ratchathani, Nakhon Ratchasima, Phuket and Prachuab Khiri Khan.

This gives us high confidence in the success of Focus in Thailand. Today, demand for booking and test drive is satisfactorily high.
