Sunti Medhavikul, Chief Commercial Officer of DTAC, in co-operation with Textme Co., Ltd., today announced a quiz campaign open to both pre-paid and post-paid customers of DTAC. The ultimate prize for the top winner of the Genius Game which runs until 2 October will get a Honda Jazz sedan. Also up for grab are plenty other prizes.
DTAC Genius Game is a True or False quiz on general knowledge in which entries are sent via SMS. Players must answer by texting in response to the questions.
Players must apply before they can join the Genius Game, by simply typing Q on the keypad and SMS it to 1919099. Applicants will thereafter receive questions on a daily basis via SMS at five baht per message. They can answer the questions by texting either Y (Yes) or N (No) They can opt out of the game by pressing Off. A correct answer will trigger further questions to allow for scores to be collected until the deadline on 2 October 2005. In the duration of the Genius Game, players can accumulate the scores for the daily prize draw. Those with highest scores during Mondays to Fridays and Sundays will receive a handset worth 5,000 baht; and the top scorer of Saturdays will get a handset worth 10,000 baht -- one prize per week.
On top of this, prizes will be given out on a weekly basis. The top scorer of the week will receive a 50,000 baht savings account. The weekly lucky draw features five prizes of MP3 player worth 3,000 baht each; ten prizes Tesco Lotus voucher at 500 baht each. The top five scorers of each week will enter into the mega-draw featuring Honda Jazz car worth 508,000 Baht.
