Nestl Ice cream has landed an exclusive contract from FamilyMart, one of the leading convenience store operators in Thailand, thereby allowing Nestl Ice Cream to accelerate its distribution channel strategy nationwide through all of FamilyMart’s 515 stores.
Mr. Philippe Eberle, Executive Director - Nestl Ice Cream & Chilled Dairy, calls this exclusive agreement with FamilyMart another important milestone in further broadening the company’s distribution channel to its family of consumers nationwide. “The contract is a perfect business match as both companies share similar business philosophies aimed at bringing modern, innovative and quality products to our consumers,” said Mr. Eberle.
Nestl Ice Cream has been attracting FamilyMart’s customers since the beginning of this year with the launch of its innovative Sundae product where consumers can enjoy the experience of making the soft—serve ice cream for themselves. This product so far has sold well beyond expectations, and helped convince the two partners to proceed to a deeper business commitment.
