The OTOP project produces products with Thai wisdom the nationwide Community with concepts and skills which have been transfered from generations mixing cultures from various regions with modern technology. As such, the project yields products with improved quality at the international standard while retaining the uniqueness of the Thai wisdom.
OTOP products can be classified into 6 categories, namely, food beverage, non-food herbs, cloths and ornaments, houseware and decorations. handicraft and souvenirs.
Now OTOP products are highly popular not only for daily uses but also for gifts, souvenirs, presents and giveaways, etc. During festivals and auspicious occasions.
Under the present economic situation when the country has trade deficits, "the use of Thai products and self-sufficiency" are the order of the day for all of us to cooperate.
