SGS (Thailand) Limited’s Mineral Manager, Mr. Jirote Na Nakorn, announces The New Miracle Mobile Unit for Environmental and Air Pollution Control Test. This Miracle Car is produced in Thailand and meets the world standard of quality. This car is used for environmental and air pollution control testing, targeting industry and businesses around the region that want to test for pollutions in their company. SGS hopes that the environmental and air pollution control project will facilitate company’s management concerns to be more active in the health and quality of life issues of their employees and others.
“We are concerned with the health of the Thai people as pollution is everywhere, and it affects both work and life. We designed and created this environmental project because we realized that if we live in a better environment with minimal pollution it will help us all to live longer and stay healthy. I believed that if we stay healthy then we will be happy and be more productive. This is the reason we began this environmental project that has resulted in the Miracle Car. These Miracle Cars have been created and produced in Thailand. The cost of the production is very competitive and the quality is the same as the world standard,” Said Mr. Na Nakorn.
Since 2004, SGS has built five mobile cars to support the project. There are two testing systems; one car has a Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) and the other four have Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AQMS). These cars have been produced according to the customer’s needs. These two testing systems are popular and very accurate, and adjustments can made to the systems immediately if needed. Also, the result of testing is fast. The cost of the test is approximately 80,000 to 150,000 Baht and takes two working days, the cost and time depending on parameters and location.
Despite the economic downturn and the oil situation, SGS is prepared to help support other businesses, even though it too is affected by the increasing cost of transportation, material supplies and so forth, by not increasing the price of its products and services as they’re needed to maintain a good quality of life and health. SGS strongly believes this business will expand and grow continually faster as everybody is concerned with health. “I expect the revenue will increase by at least 20% this year,” added Mr. Na Nakorn.
