On September 23rd , at a ceremony held with the participation of customers and press, Roberto Callieri and Nopadol Ramyarupa, Managing Directors of ACC, announced the introduction of a new product in the market.
The new product is called ‘Lotus Special’ and it is a Masonry Cement specifically created for plastering and bricklaying applications.
“With ‘Lotus Special’ our Company aims at responding to the growing demand of products for specific applications in a fast evolving market scenario; we are confident that the distinctive properties of ‘Lotus Special’ together with the resources we will deploy for field training and assistance will meet the requirements of our customers and we target a 15% of the share for this market segment”; furthermore it is our intention to continue the development of new products in the future since there will be a faster than market average demand growth for such products”, they reported.
Acc also announced that the launch of ‘Lotus Special’ follows an extensive process of both laboratory and field development and testing which allowed to achieve the required properties to best fit the market needs. The result is a premium product with superior characteristics in terms of workability and smoothness which requires no additives during the mixing process.
Lotus Special will be sold in 50 kg bags and ACC claims that its special formula will ensure up to 30% more plastering surface if compared to the performance of standard Mixed Cement used for the same applications, resulting in significant cost saving per square unit.
