NEC today officially launched the first-of-its-kind water-cooled PC in Thailand featuring advanced water-cooling technology from Japan.
In line with NEC Computers’ recent re-alignment with NEC Personal Products in Japan and taking advantage of the the design and technologies from Japan, NEC will be delivering its new range of consumer desktops, the POWERMATE DL series and the POWERMATE MT series.

Conventional PCs use fans to cool off the heat in the system and this produces a degree of audible noise which may cause inconvenience and disturbance to others.
Recognising the need for a quiet PC, NEC’s engineers have redesigned the mechanics of the car radiator coolant technology to fit into the PC system.
In addition to being silent, the revolutionary water-cooling technology is also more effective than the conventional cooling methods in PCs. Most importantly, the system is self-generating and maintenance-free, with no leakage and no need to top up the coolant liquid.
With the ideal ambience achieved through the water-cooled PC’s silent operating environment, other elements such as the BOSE Companion(R) 3 Multimedia Speaker System with subwoofer, DVD Super Multi Drive with Dual Layer support, DVD Recording, and TV Tuner with time shift feature, complete the total home theatre entertainment experience.
The PC’s cool, stylish and unparalleled design makes an innovative fit into the living room, doubling up as a TV and movie recorder.
