Bangkok--Sep 30--SET
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) joins hands with the Thailand Productivity Institute to bring the institute’s quality books to the SET’s Maruey Knowledge and Resource Center (MKRC) monthly. The institute’s publications cover all areas of management as well as work efficiency and productivity enhancement. This cooperation will disseminate information on human resource development more widely.
The SET signed a memorandum of understanding with the Thailand Productivity Institute (FTPI) to mutually promote better understanding of efficiency enhancement, including productivity, human resource development and management skills -- which are the areas of FTPI’s greatest expertise.
FTPI Executive Director Mr. Phanit Laosirirat Ph.D. said, “FTPI is pleased to provide quality publications for visitors to the MKRC. We’ll provide our best-selling books to the library on a monthly basis. This will not only help promote reading habits, but will also disseminate information on all aspects of organizational development.
“It’s our role to promote greater understanding and help Thais realize the importance of increasing productivity. It’s also our role to encourage skill development, so that Thailand’s human resources, who are important for achieving a competitive advantage, will continue to be developed. Cooperating with the SET is in line with our own mission. It is our hope that this joint venture will benefit the public as a whole in the future,” the FTPI Director said.
The Maruey Knowledge and Resource Center is open to the public daily from 8.30 am — 11.00 pm. The service hours are extended to 12.00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
