SET Joins 10th National Book Fair to Offer Quality Publications, Discounts & Educational Activities Oct. 6 -16
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) will sponsor and staff a booth at the 10th National Book Fair, to be held October 6-16, 2005, from 10:00 am — 9:00 pm, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will graciously open the event at 9:00 am of October 6.
“We will participate in the national book fair, as it corresponds well with our mission to market educational activities and promote better reading habits. The book fair draws a good number of visitors each year. This year the SET booth, located in front of the Plenary Hall, will have the theme the ‘Knowledge Box’. Here, visitors will enjoy various activities, e.g., storytelling with puppets, a quiz game about personal finance and the SET, a video presentation by the Thailand Securities Institute, information on the Money Channel and M&W Magazine, plus free educational leaflets.
Visitors to the Fair should not miss the SET booth, as they can gain from the demonstrations by the SET and its subsidiaries’ displays on “educational media for more wealth”. And, in addition to the fun activities and giveaways, people who buy the SET’s publications will also receive a special 15% discount.
