American Standard to introduce its latest technology in Asia:
American Standard strengthens its leadership with innovative sanitary ware technology entitled “Champion Flushing System”, designed to offer swift and clean flushing in just a single flush, allowing consumer to flush and run with confidence. Consumers here are sure to welcome the innovative products as consumers in the United States and Europe have.
Mr. Norman Livingstone, Managing Director of Bath and Kitchen Group, Southeast Asia, American Standard Sanitaryware (Thailand) Public Company Limited, said apart from the modern design, American Standard leads innovation when it comes to technology that helps consumers benefit from high quality sanitary ware. “The company has now introduced the Champion Flushing System — technological advancement in the bathroom, developed exclusively at American Standard’s Research Institute in New Jersey, USA. This technology will simply make toilet users forget ‘do over’ or ease the worry every time they flush the toilet,” he said.
Champion Flushing System is everything consumers need. It offers fast, quiet and clean flush, every time — everything consumers expect. The first of the Champion toilets created under the concept of “Flush and Run with Confidence” is developed to create powerful and efficient flush with the following key elements:
1. Patented Flush Tower — developed exclusively by American Standard to maximize the power of water, while using only 6 liters of water. The large 3 ?” (89 mm) flush valve is 75% larger than regular flush valve of 2” or 51 mm. It releases 6 liters of water in just 1 second to create a power and clean flush.
2. Powerful jet — The powerful water jet is perfectly positioned to remove everything in the toilet bowl all in one flush.
3. Largest Siphon Trapway - It is the largest siphon trapway at 2 3/8” or 60 mm - 20% larger than the regular 1 3/4 “ or 46 mm trapway. This large siphon trapway by American Standard virtually eliminates clogging.
Mr. Livingstone added that Champion Toilet using Champion Flushing System marked the world’s latest innovation in powerful and efficient flushing that offers clean flushing in just one flush. “The technology has been laboratory tested with efficient flushing of over 20 golf balls in just a single flush. The product is a hit in North America and Europe since it’s introduction last year. We believe the Champion toilet, using Champion Flushing System, is the best product in the market — fast, quite and clean every time. Champion toilet will be introduced across Asia in October,” he said.
American Standard has earmarked a budget of over 10 million baht to fuel an advertising and public relations campaign to accompany the launch of Champion Toilet. The campaign will include both above- and below-the-line activities with various media, as well as product road shows to attract target consumers and meetings with dealers in Bangkok and the provinces to effectively get across the message of “Flush and Run with Confidence”.
“Champion Toilet will be a success in Thailand, just like in North American and Europe, while contributing significantly to the sales during the final quarter of this year and next year. Sales for 2005 are expected at 2.25 billion baht or 5% in terms of growth,” he concluded.
