Bangkok--Oct 31--HSBC
Numbers often play a part in upcoming New Year celebrations and for HSBC this year the lucky number is 5.
HSBC Credit Card launches the “HSBC’s Celebration of Number 5” campaign offering 5% cash back to cardholders when shopping, dining or traveling during the New Year festive season from 1 November 2005 to 15 January 2006.
Positioned as a “true friend” of cardholders, HSBC has always aimed to deliver the best value and privileges for the different lifestyles of credit card members. To celebrate the coming festive season, HSBC offers 500 baht for every 10,000 baht purchase made using HSBC credit cards. Credit card members can earn up to 5,000 baht for spending at 30 different outlets during the promotion period, or earn up to 10,000 baht for spending at 50 different outlets.
“HSBC truly understands customers and continuously fulfills their needs. We offer the special benefit of cash back to enhance customers’ experience when celebrating the festive season, purchasing gifts or traveling during the holiday period, Wichit Phayuhanaveechai, Head of Marketing and Communications said.
Apart from the cash back plan, cardholders who shop at Siam Center and Siam Discovery Center from 11 November 2005 onwards will have chances to win special prizes and gift vouchers.
This New Year season, HSBC offers special gifts not only to credit cardholders but also to underprivileged children. Committed to Corporate Social Responsibility in all of its business practices, HSBC has tied the credit card campaign to a charitable activity. HSBC invites children from five charitable organisations to the launch event of the “HSBC’s Celebration of Number 5” campaign to receive gifts from five celebrities and 5,000 baht cash for each organisation from HSBC. In addition, HSBC has designed a jumbo gift box to collect donations from the public. The gift box will be placed at Siam Discovery Center until 5 December 2005 and all proceeds will be donated to the children affected by the 26 December 2004 tsunami now living at HSBC’s temporary houses at Wat Samakeetham, Phang-nga province.
