DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (eTurboNews) - One of the world's leader in credit cards has secured a three year official payment card sponsorship deal with Arabian Travel Market, the Middle East's premier travel and tourism trade event.
Ameican Express Middle East said it has entered into an agreement with Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE), the organiser of Arabian Travel Market, to get a series of on- and off-site branding opportunities and marketing benefits, including logo exposure in print and electronic collateral material, as well as a dedicated American Express Lounge at Arabian Travel Market suitable to host up to 100 key clients. American Express card members will also have free entry to the exhibition on the consumer day by simply presenting their American Express Card at the entrance.
"From Emirates airline to the Hyatt Group, Arabian Travel Market is fortunate to be supported by international corporations which have achieved institutional status in their respective industries, and the inclusion of the prestigious American Express brand solidifies an already impressive group of long-term sponsors," said RTE Group Exhibitions director Chris Chackal.
Arabian Travel Market is the only travel and tourism event held under the patronage of the government of Dubai. It is the Middle East's premier travel exhibition and a truly internationally trade event, making it the perfect partner for American Express and great networking environment to link with some of our key travel partners, according to Premal Patel, American Express marketing director for the Middle East & North Africa Region. "Our confirmed long-term commitment to the Arabian Travel Market brand is aimed at positioning American Express as the preferred cashless payment method for tourism industry professionals worldwide," Patel said.
Other Arabian Travel Market 2006 sponsors include Net Tours, one of the largest and oldest ground operators in Dubai, DRN Dubai Eye, the official radio broadcaster and AME Info, the Middle East's premier online business information resource.
Next year's Arabian Travel Market will be held at the Dubai World Trade Center from May 2 to 6.
