True Corporation Plc, in co-operation with Love Is Co Ltd, have launched “True Audition : Love is music contest” to attract musical bands of talented trendy young adults aged between 15 and 25 years old. Winners will have great opportunities to sing in the “Love is Volume 2” album. Interested contestants can apply from today until 15 December 2005.

Mr Piroon further added “Interested contestants can download the application forms from www.trueworld.net, and send back the applications together with the demonstration tapes to the same website starting today until 15 December 2005. Fans can post their votes for their favorite band in the website, and watch video tapes from the Archive of True music. This is the first real online musical activity and clearly highlights True’s commitment in providing our customers with exciting online experience.”
Khun Boyd Kosiyabong, Co-CEO of Love Is Co Ltd, said “It is our intention to search for new artists with musical talents through a public event. In the past, most of the singers came from the recommendations or suggestions of friends or someone we know. This is our first time to recruit talents via a contest. The ‘True Audition : Love is music contest’ is a brainchild of True’s management.”
“True Audition : Love is music contest” first-prize winner will receive cash worth 50,000 baht. Second-prize winner will receive cash worth 30,000 baht and third-prize winner will receive cash worth 15,000 baht. In addition, all winners will have an opportunity to be included in the album “Love is Volume 2.” They will also have the opportunity to study music composition and lyrics writing with Boyd Kosiyabong, and the use of PRE PAY hi-speed Internet.
