Bangkok--Nov 9--eTurboNews
To celebrate 2006 Discover Hong Kong Year (DHKY), the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has launched a range of bonus privileges to further enrich corporate visitors' experience in Hong Kong. In addition to the current offers, corporate meetings and incentive travel groups visiting Hong Kong during 2006 will receive extra value-added offers.
Groups with 30-149 overseas participants can choose between an airport welcome or a Chinese craft demonstration of flour doll making; name carving on chopsticks; Chinese knotting; or Chinese rainbow calligraphy. Larger groups of up to 999 overseas participants can select two of the craft demonstrations or the airport welcome.
Groups of over 1,000 overseas participants will receive a special welcome, either from a marching band or a Dukling welcome, which involves a sailpast by a Chinese junk displaying a welcome banner with the corporate name.
Corporate visitors to Hong Kong often choose to bring along their partners or spouses, and the HKTB is also offering a special privilege to groups which include 30 or more companions. Groups can choose between a Chinese cake making and tea appreciation class or a diamond/jade/pearl appreciation class.
Full details of these offers, along with the terms and conditions, can be found at www.discoverhongkong.com/mice. This website also contains the 2006 DHKY Online Product Guide, the essential guide to value-added offers and services from airlines, hotels and venues. The user-friendly product guide also allows the user to select appropriate venues and request promotional offers direct from suppliers.
