Bangkok--Nov 15--DTAC
Targetting post-paid users from all walks of life, WORK now lets you talk for an hour for a price of three minutes
DTAC today unveils a sensational offer to send off the final quarter of 2005 — a package crafted to capture the hearts of mobile phone users from all walks of life.
DTAC Chief Executive Officer Sigve Brekke said DTAC wants to create a one-size-fits-all package that appropriately addresses the needs of working population across the board, to whom mobile phone has become a daily communication necessity. DTAC has been working on a package that would draw a unanimous chorus of response among the customer that: here’s a package that really works and is worth waiting for.
“WORK” is the outcome of hard works by DTAC team which has learnt from experiences of delivering what the customer wants. Whoever you are; whatever work you do, and whatever your job requires you to do on a daily basis, WORK is the answer to your communication needs.
Mr Sunti Medhavikul, DTAC Chief Customer Officer, has this to say about “WORK,” a package that is set to make waves in the mobile phone scene: “We stop the tariff metre at three minutes, but the customers who are professionals in any field can go on talking for up to an hour. For conversation under three minutes, one pays an actual rate of 2.50 baht per minute, with minimum payment of the first minute and actual per-second charge thereafter. All this comes with an incredible bargain of 399 baht monthly subscription fee. The package is applied during real working hours, not during the non-office hours, meaning the offer is good between 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on Mondays till Fridays; and 24 hours during Saturdays and Sundays. The WORK package is on the offer from today until 31 December 2005. We believe that this package will definitely WORK for a cross section of customers — business executives, secretary, bartender, stewardess, journalist, dancer, DJ, beauty queens, etc.”
Following the launch today, WORK package will be featured on a media advertisement campaign. The TV commercial will assume an unconventional approach — in that the advertisement may not make sense to viewers, but they can count on it, that WORK will definitely work in their real life. In tandem, DTAC sales and PR teams will stage activities and interact with the customer in Bangkok’s main business and commercial areas.
Mr Sunti adds that “DTAC can deliver what it takes to make the WORK package WORK in our customer’s real life situation. We are also confident that the “WORK” offer from us will compel other operators to rework their strategy. Gearing up for today’s launch, DTAC has prepared a team to help send SMS to notify the change of numbers to friends and clients on behalf of customers who wish to shift to DTAC because of the WORK package.” End.
