Cisco Systems (Thailand) Ltd., the worldwide leader in networking for the Internet, has outlined its vision for 2006, with a focus on the Intelligent Information Network (IIN). Cisco is also introducing financing services to businesses in Thailand through Cisco Capital.
Mr. Asawin Kangvolkij, Managing Director, Cisco Systems (Thailand) Ltd. said Cisco will proactively communicate its vision for IIN. This vision focuses on adding intelligence to networks, enabling them to be more responsive, flexible and able to accommodate integrated communications. The company will demonstrate the capabilities of the IIN at the Cisco Showcase 2006, which will take place at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
“Cisco’s Intelligent Information Network better addresses customer demands with higher availability and self-defending capabilities. With higher intelligence, this network is aware of disparate applications and delivers more efficient services. Moreover, it is easy to manage and helps reduce complexity in networking,” said Mr.Asawin.
Cisco’s IIN vision is applicable across its four target markets which comprise service providers, enterprises (in both public and private sectors), commercial businesses (20 to 1,000 employees) and homes. The building blocks for IIN include Cisco’s fast-growing Advanced Technology areas such as Wireless LAN, IP Communications, Optical, Security, Storage Networking, and Home Networking (through its Linksys division).
“We will continue to introduce new Advanced Technology products to support the IIN vision. Such products are complementary to our business, add values to our customers, and bolster our market leadership,” Added Mr. Asawin.
To enable more organizations in Thailand to benefit from networking technologies, Cisco Capital is introducing its financing services into the country. Working directly with Cisco Systems Thailand, Cisco Capital offers tailored and innovative, financial solutions for Cisco technology that enables organizations the flexibility of using revenue derived from enhanced network performance to pay for
their equipment.
“Cisco Capital’s flexible leasing program enables customers to rent Cisco network equipment with options to return, migrate, renew and/or buy equipment during or at the end of the lease period. These options give our customers the freedom to take advantage of new technology as and when their businesses demand it,” said Asawin.
“Through leasing, customers are no long limited by their capital expenditure budget. They can convert an upfront cost into a more manageable stream of monthly operational expenditure payments, thereby enabling them to leverage future budgets to deploy the required solution today.”
