- New memory module allows maximum memory use and excellent heat management -
— Apacer has released a high-capacity DDR333 4GB ECC Registered DIMM memory module specially designed for AMD Socket 940 high-end servers and workstations. This new memory module allows systems to maximize available memory slots and improve heat dissipation in high density configurations. This module is perfect for enterprise servers with a limited number of memory slots and tightly configured in rack systems. It has been tested in numerous servers and workstations and has the proven compatibility, performance and stability to meet the needs of this demanding market.
Mr. Grace Lo, Senior Director of Apacer’s DRAM Department, mentions that “this DDR333 4GB ECC Registered DIMM uses chip stacking technology, which gives each module a 4GB size for the high-capacity memory needs of servers and workstations. Also, in order to improve the performance of the module, Apacer designed the PCB layout to more evenly distribute heat and also reduce signal interference. Both these factors increase the stability of systems and improve data integrity when the module is working under the high speeds typical of a densely clustered blade server for example.
