Bangkok--Dec 7--DTAC
Mr Sunti Medhavikul, Chief Customer Officer of Total Access Communication (DTAC) Plc, today rolls out aggressive move to enhance call center service operations, another step ahead of its rivals. This is another bold move of DTAC to recruit more call center staffs, after its major recruitment in May this year which doubled the number of call center staffs to 1,000. This is to respond to the substantially rising demand for DTAC’s wide ranges of service innovations for both prepaid services including ‘Happiness Collection of Happy’, Jai Dee translation service, Jai Dee Borrowing and Exchange, Hay Ha SIM card; and postpaid services such as maximize 5 senses, maximize plus, ZAD package and so on. DTAC has also developed new call center concepts by delivering innovative services based on ‘segmentation’ such as offering multi-lingual services, and hotline services giving consultation to people in the same age group. All efforts reflect DTAC’s determination to deliver the best customer services in the industry.
As it moves towards the end of the year 2005, DTAC carries on maintaining its position as No 1 mobile phone in terms of service quality. So it decides to open Chai Building as a venue to recruit 500 new call center staffs with the unconventional technique that allows applicants to know the result within the same day. In case it can’t get all new staff on the day, the recruitment process will continue until it reaches required quota. The new staffs will start working in January 2006 onwards.
Applicants are advised to prepare all necessary documents which include two 1-inch photos, a copy of transcript, ID card and a copy of house registration to submit on the application day. It’s also required that applicants have the right qualifications and the right attitudes. They should believe in the joy of working hard, be able to think differently, and have the right personalities as those are more important than skills. Interested applicants can apply and conduct the testing on December 17, 2548 at Ground floor of Chai Building, the head office of DTAC on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road between 8:30 a.m. — 4: 30 p.m. Call DTAC’s Human Resources Department Tel. 0-2202-8000 for more details .
Mr Sunti adds that DTAC currently has about 4,000 employees which can efficiently provide the services to customers. Mobile phone is the business that needs not only cutting-edge call center system, but also the staffs that are knowledgeable, skillful, witty and service-minded. Also, they need to have the ability to handle all enquiries and provide details while keeping in mind to ensure customer satisfaction. ‘’It has been DTAC’s policy to give first priority on human resources development and the company has tried every possible way to enhance the skills and knowledge of staff while making sure that they work in the right environment that enables them to work happily and effectively,’’ Mr Sunti says.
Based on this policy, within the first quarter of 2006 DTAC will have around 1,500 call center staff who will be based in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Nakhon Ratchasima, Rayong and Surat Thani, Mr Sunti speaks proudly about service efficiency of DTAC call center.
