Bangkok--Dec 9--Kid Tai Bangkok Fashion City Project is poised to launch “Street”, the second publication of its series ‘Bangkok Fashion Now & Tomorrow’ featuring Thailand’s best design in Ready to Wear, presenting Bangkok’s hip fashion street to stir interest worldwide. While the first publication receives exceed expectation. The Top Fashion Report project under the Bangkok Fashion City Project has made another significant progress by poising to issue the second publication of the series ‘Bangkok Fashion Now & Tomorrow’. The book, entitled ‘Street’, will be featuring Bangkok’s hip fashion street with Thailand’s best designs in ready-to-wear from Thai outstanding designers. The selection was made by a selecting committee made up of Thailand’s leading fashion and design experts, said Dr. Rochana Kosiyanon, Managing Director of TTIS Co., Ltd., the publisher. The first book of its series, entitled ‘Scream’ featuring Thailand’s best designs in Haute Couture launched in last August has gained exceed expectation from fashion business people and general public worldwide. “Within the period of two months of launching there are about 36,000 visitors browsed into our website www.bkkfashionnow.com with 13 percents are foreigners from 37 countries. As for the launching of our new publication ‘Street’ we are now planning to expand more distribution channels to gain wider audiences in Asia, Europe and America” Said Dr. Rochana Street, themed under the concept Thailand’s ready-to-wear fashion, depicts Bangkok’s four hip fashion streets with its unique style when street have defined the way ones dressed. Siam Square — where trends are measured in minutes not months, shows Bangkok’s teenagers’ mix and match inspiration. Sukhumvit - where style reigns supreme, shows Bangkok’s elite boutiques and brand-name fashion and accessories. Jatujak - where uncertainty is all that is certain, tells the world about its being shopper’s paradise and one of the largest second-hand clothes. And Silom - where clubbing and capitalism converge, shows Bangkok’s night life fashion with carnival of lights, sights and bites, according to editor-in-chief, Kullawit Laosuksri. The book also feature Thai’s fashion design which had been exposed in August’s Bangkok Fashion Week. The book has received great collaboration with Internationally acclaimed director Apichatpong Weerasethakul, whose his films ‘Blissfully Yours’ and ‘Tropical Malady’ has recently awarded at Cannes Film Festival. The director has agreed to have his latest film exposed in the fashion book with his own unique style entitled ‘UNKNON PORTRAITS’. It is the first time for public to see some shots of his latest film. Apart from depicts the outstanding of Thai’s ready to wear fashion, the book has also given a great opportunity for Thai’s ready to wear designers or entrepreneurs of more than 50 brands to have their products and designs featured in the book with their name and addresses will be credited.
