Siam Kubota introduces Thai innovation, “Siam Kubota Riding Tiller KRT 140”.
Investing 70 million baht in marketing to hit 4,000 of the first year sale volumes
Introducing Siam Kubota Riding Tiller KRT 140, Thais’ prestigious innovation as it is invented, designed, and manufactured by Thai engineer team along with the collaboration from Kubota Corporation (Japan). This product offers more convenience and time saving for the farmers compare to traditional machine. The company has already appointed more than 110 dealers across the country. Moreover, the budget of more than 70 million baht has been implemented for full-scale marketing activities including advertising, public relations, demonstrating caravan, and product trial to achieve 4,000 of sale volumes or 600 million baht in the first year.
Mr. Veerachai Chaochankit, the President of Siam Kubota Industry Co., Ltd. stated that Siam Kubota Riding Tiller KRT 140 was designed to better serve farming work needs so that farmers do not have to work as hard as using walk behind power tiller. KRT 140 has been ensured for its efficiency, safety, and fuel consumption saving. Likewise, it works well in all regions of Thailand. Thanks to its hydraulic system that allows user to adjust the depth of the plow as required. KRT 140 is facile and lightweight, and also compatible with various farming equipments such as harrow, disc, and trailer.
Most importantly, KRT 140 allows user to cultivate faster by controlling the implement with hydraulic system control. Compared to the walk behind power tiller offering 3 — 5 rai per day of farming work, KRT 140 offers twice as much of efficiency generating up to 10 rai per day of farming work. This brings the better living and productivity to Thai farmers. In addition, this multifunction machinery serves various purposes such as rice farming, crop plantation, or even as transportation. Consequently, KRT 140 is regarded as the household agricultural machine and also makes a great choice to simplify the work of farmers.

When it comes to the KRT 140 debut, Siam Kubota has invested over 70 million baht of budget to employ the full-scale marketing activities such as television commercial series of “Grateful Sons”, which will be on air from December 10th in order to create awareness among the target market. Besides, newspaper and billboard advertisements are also in place. Siam Kubota Caravan will be arranged to reach the prospects in all areas to promote KRT 140. The caravan activities include exhibition, product demonstration and trial user, entertainment activities, and premiums. Siam Kubota has appointed more than 110 dealers across the country to supply customers with KRT 140 and services.
Mr.Veerachai added that riding tiller initiated a new market for agricultural machinery as Siam Kubota is the first company that has seriously pioneered this market. It is believed that Siam Kubota Riding Tiller KRT 140 will gain massive popularity among farmers and will replace the walk behind power tiller in the near future. Siam Kubota aims its target at 4,000 of sale volumes or 600 million baht and it is expected to achieve 10,000 of sale volumes within 3 years.
