Bangkok--Dec 16--Neo Target
Conoco (Thailand) Ltd. the operator of 144 Jet gas stations nationwide, will give away 4,000 motorcyclist helmets to its customers to promote careful road traveling during holiday seasons this month.
Under a campaign called “JET…Safe Ride, Save Lives” the company will hand out a free crash helmet with a purchase of at least 50 baht at three of its service stations in Pattaya City.
Offers are valid from December 20 to 24 or while supplies last.
“People tend to be extra jolly during year-end festive seasons that are just around the corner. To enjoy safe and sound celebrations, they need to be extra careful on the road for their own safety and other fellow motorists’,” said Sam Farace, Managing Director — Marketing & Lubes, Asia Pacific, Conoco (Thailand) Ltd.
He added: “No one denies the importance of life and asset safety. Yet, motorists may not have been very careful in the past, especially during long holidays like New Year and Song Kran Festival (the Traditional Thai New Year). We hope our ‘Drive Safely with Jet’ campaign will urge road users to be more aware of, and put into practice, safety measures for everyone’s sake.
“We particularly choose to run this campaign in Pattaya because it is a famous city of celebrations and one of the most frequent scenes of motorcycles-related accidents. We hope our gift of safety will be put into good use these holiday seasons,” said Sam.
Founded in 1991, Conoco (Thailand) Ltd. opened its first “Jet” petrol station two years later. The company invests some 5 billion baht in the Thai market, hires more than 4,000 employees and operates 144 service stations nationwide. Conoco spearheads the concept of ‘extra-satisfaction for customers’ demands,’ developing businesses along with convenient services. With the modern, spacious Jiffy convenience store, Conoco has turned Jet outlets into one of the most satisfying one-stop-service stations in the country.
