Not only liquor and tobacco can buy at the arrival duty free shop, but many kinds of duty free products can find here, such as, perfumes, cosmetics, watch, etc.
Sombat Dechapanichkul, Group Managing Director of King Power Group of Companies said that due to the changing of the duty free regulations from the Custom Department that will be more convenience for the passengers. From now on, the passengers who come to Thailand can buy many kinds of duty free products at King Power Duty Free Shop in Arrival Zone same as Departure Zone. The new items such as, Perfumes, Cosmetics, Watch, etc.
“In the past, passengers arrives Thailand can buy only liquor and tobacco. But from now, they can buy other items. Lots of well-known brands will be served here, such as, Estee Lauder, L’Occitane, Bvlgari, Davidoff, Christian Dior, Gucci, CK, etc.”, Sombat said.
Moreover, passengers can buy 20,000 Baht and Thai passengers who are study or work abroad for over 1 year will have the right for buy 50,000 Baht. The money quota for buying is not included liquor that can buy
1 Litre and tobacco can buy 200 cigarettes.
The special right for Thai passengers who go abroad and buy any items except liquor and tobacco at King Power Duty Free Shop Departure Zone not over than 20,000 Baht, can leave the products with shops and get them it back when they go back to Thailand.
