CSI: MIAMI — In The Heat of Miami, Crimes are Just as Cold-Blooded
The first franchise from the highly successful CSI: Crime Scene Investigation has proven just as successful as its predecessor. The finale of CSI: Miami promises the most tangled plot ever, this time involving members of the team themselves as their pasts come back to haunt them. In an explosive, nail-biting ending to a highly acclaimed season, the danger this time is personal. With a fast-moving plot filled with twists and decisions it could drastically change the face of the Miami team as viewers know it.
Synopsis
The CSI team is put to the test as they rush to thwart a Columbian drug syndicate’s plans to set off a bomb in downtown Miami. As things heat up, Horatio discovers that his brother Ray, the long-assumed dead husband of Detective Yelina, is actually alive and involved. But there’s no happy reunion as Yelina’s son is kidnapped and Horatio and Ray set off on the trail of the drug dealers. Will Horatio give up the woman he loves, Yelina, to the brother who faked his own death?
HOUSE — A Prickly Doctor for Your Malady?
Starring Hugh Laurie as the controversial, caustic Dr Gregory House, this new series has been widely credited and applauded internationally for its dry humour and candid approach to the strangest medical ailments. With the titular character as a bitter but brilliant specialist who approaches life-saving as he would a serious brainteaser, House is a refreshing stroke of genius, neatly combining an approach to medicine that is as bizarre as the ailments themselves.
Synopsis
House insists he can handle things when Stacy (guest-star Sela Ward), the woman he once loved, asks him to diagnose Mark, the man she married. When Mark’s tests come back normal yet symptoms show that his brain is dying, the puzzle may be one that even House cannot solve.
House (Season 1) finale on Tuesday, 10 January 06 @ 10pm
CSI: Miami (Season 3) finale on Wednesday 11 January 06 @ 10pm
