Bangkok--Jan 11--Bangkok Bank
Bangkok Bank will feature two ‘firsts’ at this year’s Thailand Animation and Multimedia Exhibition 2006 (TAM), by introducing Thailand’s first children’s banking website, ‘Bualuang Kids’, and providing the major sponsorship to Thailand’s highly anticipated first full length animated feature film, ‘Khan Kluay’.
The two new ‘firsts’ at TAM is part of the Bank’s mission to provide young people throughout Thailand with educational opportunities on savings and banking as well as nurturing the creativity for a new generation of Thai film makers.
Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President, Mr. Bordin Unakul said Bangkok Bank’s new Kids Website www.bangkokbank.com/Bualuangkids is an educational and fun way for children to learn all about money and banking.
“Bangkok Bank understands the importance of learning all about money and saving, even at an early age. That’s why the Bualuang Kids Website has developed an educational and fun new website that explains the fundamentals of money and banking to children,” Mr.Bordin said.
“We are also proud to be a major sponsor of Kantana’s ‘Khan Kluay’, Thailand’s first full length animated feature film. Kantana owns an entertainment education institute therefore we believe that our website and ‘Khan Kluay’ will benefit the youth across Thailand,” Mr Bordin said.
This year’s TAM coincides with Children’s Day on January 14, 2006. Children can visit Bangkok Bank and Kantana’s joint booth and take a hands-on look at the new website and witness the latest in computer generated animation.
