First in Thailand, HSBC has launched Instant Cash Time Deposit, an innovative deposit scheme that offers a unique benefit in the form of ‘instant’ cash return.
Each customer opening the new deposit account will receive instant cash return starting from the date of account opening.
From now on until 31 March this year, all customers who make deposit of Thb 300,000 or more and maintain the deposit from 3 months to 24 months will be eligible to receive the cash return, which is equivalent to the amount of applicable interest rate.
Mr. Wichit Phayuhanaveechai, Head of Personal Financial Services of HSBC in Thailand, said, “As the World’s Local Bank, HSBC has global expertise and understanding of local customers. Based on our studies of local consumers, we found that instant returns, competitive interest rate and trustworthiness of financial institutions are key factors when customer make decision on where to place their deposit. We have thus developed Instant Cash Time Deposit which answers to all these needs.”
