This new service will enable customers to shop, and perform all sorts of all payment transactions more easily on their mobile phone anytime and anywhere. Ltd, said that the company is committed to continually seeking innovative services for its customers to enhance every aspect of their lifestyles. In this connection, True established True Money Co., Ltd., in 2005 with the approval from the Bank of Thailand to offer an electronic cash service. Moreover, True Money also acts as a payment agent with the approval from the Revenue Department. The first service launched in 2005 is called “Mobile Money Cash Card”, which allows customers to top up any of the 6 services under True Corporation.
In 2006, True Money launches its new innovative service “Money Service by True Money via MoneySIM”. This service enables customers to pay for products and services via their mobile phone. With the support of leading banks as partners, such as the Bank of Ayudhaya, Bangkok Bank, Kasikorn Bank, Krungthai Bank, Siam Commercial Bank, Thai Military Bank and United Overseas Bank (Thai), the service not only provides a one-stop payment transaction service for customers, but it also ensures that each transaction made on the phone is secure with a personal password.
Mr. Piyachart Ratanaprasartporn, Co-General Manager of True Money Co., Ltd. added that “Money Service by True Money” is True’s latest service which is supported by the country’s leading banks. It turns the mobile SIM into an electronic wallet. The service will allow “new generation” customers to perform payment transactions more conveniently. They can manage their cash even more efficiently anytime anywhere. In regards to the younger age group who always keep up with the latest trends and technology, the service also helps this group of customers do on-line payments, money transfers, and money top-ups with all products and services available within, as well as outside the True Group.
Money of up to 10,000 Baht can be kept in the MoneySIM per each True Money account. Currently, customers can top-up their account by using Cash Card by True Money, an approved bank account or credit card. Customers can then top up any amount of money to various True services, such as Orange Just Talk, WE PCT Buddy, Fun Card as well as Internet Kit. For example, they can do a 10-baht top-up for Orange Just Talk. With this service, customer can also pay for Orange Talk Plan phone bills, transfer and update their True Money account, and in the near future, pay for products and services at any leading shops and restaurants.

TA Orange mobile phone subscribers can register for this service via their mobile phones, free of charge, from now until mid 2006. What they have to do is simply type TM for Thai or TMEN for the English menu and then send an SMS to 9000. Applicants will then receive the menu of “Money Service by True Money” and can open a True Money account by entering their 13-digit ID card number followed by their personal password and your MoneySIM is now ready to be used.
