The Stock Exchange of Thailand invites investors to search securities with the most attractive returns, with a focus on reduced risk long-term investments. A special securities clinic will be available for investment consultations. Fair-goers can also enjoy several interesting seminars where in-depth investment strategies will be examined during the two-day event. Lucky participants can win prizes of initial investment cash for mutual funds, worth THB10,000. The event kicks off on Saturday, February 4 and runs through Sunday, February 5, 2006. The Thai Investor’s Day fair will be open from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm both days at the SET building on Ratchadapisek Road.
The “Thai Investors’ Day”, events will be organized on the first weekend of every month throughout 2006.This month’s event is scheduled for Sat.,February 4 and Sun.,February 5.
February’s Thai Investors’ Day will focus on providing information on securities with attractive dividends. These securities could be a good alternative for investors who are worried about risk but want to make long-term investments in fundamentally sound stocks with good returns and high dividends. This will really help investors save time on following up on trading data all the time.
Visitors will receive all the information they will require on securities that pay dividends and the list of the top securities with the highest dividends, during the two-day event’s seminars. Seminars will take place starting from 10.30 am to 4.00 pm. Seminar participants are also entitled to take part in a lucky draw to win 4 prizes of THB10,000 worth of initial fund investment cash. Meanwhile, in front of Maruey Knowledge & Resource Centre, Event-goers will be able to enjoy a speech on Thailand’s economic history entitled “a trip back to the 1997 economic crisis”, by Ms. Nawaporn Ruengsakul, our guest speaker and the author of “Om-Kon Ruey-Kon” (Save First, Get Rich First) and her latest publication “Subdah Sud Tai” (Last Weekend). Participants can also try their luck at winning one of her books at the meeting.
