Bangkok Bank has been awarded ‘The Most Visited Bank Site” by Truehits.net.
Each year Truehits.net ranks the top 100 websites throughout Thailand by the number of hits on each site. In 2005, Bangkok Bank’s website had the highest number of hits out of all the financial institutions in Thailand.
Bangkok Bank’s Public Website Manager, Duangporn Rattanatraiphop, said the award reflected changes in the way customers do their banking and search for information.
“Since the website began, Bangkok Bank has been providing customers with a host of online financial services, products and banking information. Bank customers can access Bualuang ibanking, the Bank’s online service, beyond normal bank hours from the convenience of their computer at home, work or anywhere they choose. Our website gives customers 24-hour access to all their banking needs,” Mrs. Duangporn said
“The number of visitors to the website has been steadily increasing, and on average 3.5 million page views per month,” she said.
“Bangkok Bank’s website also caters for a multi-lingual customer base with sections written in Thai, English, Chinese and Japanese providing customers with updated financial information. We have also recently developed a new site for children designed as a fun and educational tool to learn about savings and money,” Mrs. Duangporn added.
The Bualuang Kids Website is part of the bank’s efforts to encourage people to save in line with the saving policy of the government and is useful for children aged between 5-13 years. Since the Bualuang Kids Website went live in November it has had over 30,000 hits. End.
