Seven leading Thai organisations comprising CP Seven Eleven, True Corporation Plc, United Broadcasting Plc, RS Promotion Plc, and BTS today officially launched the One Plus Group offering convenience through ‘Membership Reward Privilege Cash Cards’ to the new generation to suit their lifestyle around the clock. The ‘Membership Reward Privilege Cash Cards’ comprises 3 varieties of cards - ‘7-11 Value Card’, Love Link card’ and ‘True Privilege One Plus’ giving the opportunity for card users to spend up to 10,000 baht. Customers who use the ‘Membership Reward Privilege Cash Cards’ will be able to get points every time they spend, which is guaranteed by the ‘Smart Purse’ system. One Plus Group expects to attract more than 1,000,000 customers within the end of 2006.

In the near future, One Plus plans to expand its benefits for individual customers. Moreover, Visa Cash has also accepted “Membership Reward Privilege Cash Cards” as its member, allowing One Plus Group to manage ‘Membership Reward Privilege Cash Cards’ with the ‘Smart Purse’ system. The Smart Purse system will electronically transfer cash to the chip, whilst is the copyright of Thai Smart Card Co Ltd allowing ‘Membership Reward Privilege Cash Card’ customers to use their card without any limitation at any shop displaying the ‘Smart Purse’ signage, including some 2,700 7-Eleven outlets, more than 4,300 branches of Counter Service and all True shops & True Move Shop throughout Thailand. ‘Membership Reward Privilege Cash Card” members can top-up cash starting with 50 baht up to 10,000 baht.
“There are three different varieties of ‘Membership Reward Privilege Cash Cards’ - 7-11 Value Card of Seven Eleven, Love Link Card of Counter Service and True Privilege One Plus Card of True Corporation. Interested customers can purchase the Value Card of Seven Eleven and Link Love of Counter Service at 7-Eleven and Counter Service outlets, while True Privilege One Plus can be purchased at True shops. All card varieties have an initial 3-year membership fee of 250 baht. Customers will receive the points automatically to exchange as cash to purchase merchandise or receive special benefits every time spent with the ‘Membership Reward Privilege Cash Cards’. The first 10,000 customers to subscribe to the ‘Membership Reward Privilege Cash Card’ Value Card up until 20 February will be eligible to receive a BTS ticket worth 200 baht,” Mr Korsak said.

During the initial launch, ‘Membership Reward Privilege Cash Cards’ members, who purchase Unilever and RS Promotion products at 7-Eleven outlets will be awarded double points. In the near future, ‘Membership Reward Privilege Cash Card’ members will be able to check their accumulated points and amount of cash left in their cards through One Plus Group membership centre at BTS stations.
