Brother launches the latest technology, All-in-One Multi-Function Centre (MFC) with wireless network-ready for home and modern home office without cable runs.
Mr. Somchai Soongsawang, Managing Director of Brother Commercial (Thailand) Ltd. reveals that while the demand for colour inkjet MFCs is still high among home and home office users, today’s consumers are expecting office equipment to reduce in size, increase in functionalities and integrate value-add features such as wireless connectivity for added convenience. Heeding to the needs of the everyday consumer, Brother has developed its first MFC model with a built-in wireless 802.11b/g and Ethernet network interface. Users can now concentrate on the important things rather than worry about the placement of the MFC due to unsightly cable runs.
“Brother MFC-640CW, the first wireless network-ready 6-in-1 colour flatbed MFC combining colour printing, colour faxing, colour copying, colour scanning, PC faxing and PhotoCapture Centre capabilities that allows users to print directly and conveniently from photo media cards, eliminating the need for a PC! It comes with an integrated handset and wireless network that could handle printing up to 100 metres within none barrier environment. MFC-640CW incorporates Brother’s revolutionary print technology innovation called the Capillary Tube Delivery Ink System, which directs ink from four separate cartridges to the print head, without the cartridges taking up headroom on top of the print head. It’s also provided with all necessary document management software and carries a one-year carry-in warranty. Brother is expecting MFC-640CW to be widely accepted by its targeted customers as well as boosting its sale of inkjet MFC with a higher market share” said Mr. Somchai.
