Discovering the New World within new book! Thailand Knowledge Park Reading Campaign organized by Dr.Sirikorn Maneerin, President of Thailand Knowledge Park to search for the best reader is now getting more exciting with the approaching of the final TK Park Reading competition on Mach 27, 2006 at BEC Tero Hall, Suanlum Night Bazaar.
Through the TK Park Reading campaign, over 140,000 students from more than 300 schools have taken part in the campaign for the fun of reading. The program focuses on fun-side of reading across the school community as a part of daily agenda for Thai youths. This initiative will not only raise the profile of reading for pleasure but also support teachers to develop reading-rich environment. At the beginning, the project teacher will submit top 10 TK readers, from each grade within 2 categories — Pathom 4 - 6 and Mathayom 1-3. Then, they will participate in a range of reading activities and numerous tests by TK Park to select the best reader from each category to participate in the final round.
The winner prize in each category will receive 10,000 Baht, plus an education trip to Singapore accompanied by one parent. For the best reader school will win an honor pin and purchasing book coupon valued of 50,000.- Baht plus a wining project teacher will also join educational trip to Singapore.
