Bangkok--29 Mar--Krungthai Card
KTC has launched the “Summer of Envy…the hotter, the more envious with KTC” grand campaign to help members save even more with discounts on all imaginable spending, dining, shopping, and traveling and fuel for every client group. With partnership of prominent brands which have not previously been associated with any credit card, Summer of Envy will feature benefits and discounts on an unprecedented scale plus installment payment option to further reaffirm KTC’s status as the leading comprehensive consumer finance service provider of Thailand.
Mr. Thawatchai Thitisakdiskul, Senior Executive Vice President, Credit Card Business, “KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited commented on the objective of this marketing activity “It is impossible to foresee all factors affecting the Thai economy at this time. Many consumer goods have been made more expensive and that certainly affects everyone. And that is why we and a good number of partners are proud to present promotions which will best accommodate card members in their daily spending and help them pay less. These are existing partners of ours and certain well known brands which have not previously been associated with any credit card. The campaign is intended as a gesture of thanks for the kind patronage we have been graced with. It should also encourage spending of 2006 to increase at least 10%.”
“We never stop working here at KTC. Our team of staffs continue to devise innovative marketing strategies that bring as many benefits to the members as possible. Our goal is to show cardholders how convenient it is to complete payments with a credit card and convince them to spend through KTC cards with the benefits which would otherwise not be made available to them. The coming summer is a special season as always. It is the time for Songkran, holidays and family time so we hope “Summer of Envy…the hotter, the more envious with KTC” will keep our dear clients happy and enviable. The benefits we have selected certainly will fulfill all basic requirements of every client group.”
Mr. Woravut Nisapakulthorn, Senior Vice President, Credit Card Business, “KTC” elaborated on the benefits “We are fully aware of the daily expenses consumers cannot avoid. That is why the benefits we have chosen revolve around the clients. They are truly useful and relevant. “Summer of Envy…the hotter, the more envious with KTC” is made possible with the continued cooperation of our partners, thanks to our marketing outlook that values card members and business partners alike. Most of our partners have enjoyed over 50% rise in sales so far. And for this new campaign, it is our pleasure to welcome new partners: Rocket Sound, Condo One, Haagen Dazs, none of which has previously had a similar association with other financial institutions. There is also and Emporium’s Park Food Hall which is famous for the breadth and the quality of their menu. I think this is reason enough to expect that more and more members will be keen to participate.”
“Summer of Envy…the hotter, the more envious with KTC” covers all daily spending, dining, shopping, traveling and fuel including auto and option of KTC Flexi. We are putting over 40 Million Baht to realize this campaign and all activities this summer. These are not all to the campaign, KTC credit card holders may view more details in KTC What’s Up magazine, on www.ktc.co.th or by calling KTC Phone at 0-2665-5000.
“Summer of Envy…the hotter, the more envious with KTC” is a step towards positive long-term relationship with card members. It will not only encourage members to spend more via the card but also attract non-members to KTC credit card membership. We remain with the largest client base as always, partly because of the fine and diverse benefits we offer.”, said Mr. Thawatchai in conclusion.
