Bangkok Bank President Mr. Chartsiri Sophonpanich and Director of the Thai Red Cross National Blood Center Ms. Rachanee O-Jaroen cut the ribbon to launch the campaign ‘Blood Drive to Celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the King’s Accession to the Throne’ at Bangkok Bank’s head office on Silom Road recently. The campaign aims to collect 600,000 cc. of blood donations in one year.
Bangkok Bank has been appointed by the Board of the Thai Red Cross Society’s National Blood Center as a supporter of blood donation. The bank has coordinated with the National Blood Center for more than 24 years.
Bangkok Bank President Mr. Chartsiri Sophonpanich presents a cheque of baht 1,000,000 to Ms. Rachanee O-Jaroen Director of Thai Red Cross National Blood Center to support the operation of the campaign ‘Blood Drive to Celebrate the King’s 60th year on the Throne’. Under this campaign, the mobile blood donation bus will be parked at the bank’s head office for four times starting on May 2 and again on August 2, November 1, 2006 and April 2007.
