Bangkok--29 May--Bangkok Bank
Bangkok Bank is encouraging students to learn the value of money and start saving at an early age through an educational road show showcasing the Bualuang Kids website, Thailand’s first banking website for children.
Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President, Bordin Unakul, said, “Bangkok Bank is introducing the Bualuang Kids website in a special road show to nine schools in the Bangkok region with the aim of educating children on all aspects of banking, emphasizing the importance of saving money.
“We believe that building an early understanding of banking, saving and money management can help children develop good financial habits that will lead them towards a bright and financially strong future,” Mr. Bordin said.
Bangkok Bank launched the Bualuang Kids website as a new and fun educational tool for children to learn about savings and money. The website is bilingual (Thai and English) and is suitable for children aged between 6-13 years.
The website has a bright, colourful, friendly and an easy-to-use design. The content for the website is divided into five sections including, Banking, Money, Accounts, Bank Words and Games specially designed for kids to learn about savings.
The school road shows are part of Bangkok Bank’s ongoing commitment to building children’s financial knowledge and skills. The Bank launched the Bualuang Kids website late last year and has been actively encouraging children to save through a number of initiatives including the Vitamilk Champ promotion and the launch of the youth orientated Khan Kluay Be1st card and passbook.
