Zero day protection against worms, Trojans, spyware, keyloggers, and other malware
Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR) today confirmed its Intrusion Detection and Protection (IDP) security systems and ISG firewall/virtual private network (VPN) systems with IDP are able to provide customers zero day protection against new Microsoft vulnerabilities.
“While there are other solutions on the market that may be able to provide same-day protection, Juniper’s solutions provide zero-day protection,” said Greg Bunt, Juniper Networks’ Regional Systems Engineer Manager for Asia Pacific. “This is crucial because there is a window of opportunity for attacks by hackers or malware, before vulnerabilities are patched against exploits. Minutes or hours matter immensely.”
