Bangkok--5 Jul--Marriott Resorts & Spas
Manohra Cruises lately just added, Manohra Star-a brand new vessel to its award-winning fleet offering memorable romantic dining experiences on Thailand’s famous ‘River of Kings’.
No visit to Bangkok is complete without a trip on the historic Chao Phraya river of kings. Take an evening cruise, relax on board while you relish the beautiful sunset over Bangkok’s skyline.
The Manohra Star measuring 27 metres in length is the largest vessel for the group, accommodating up to 70 people for a variety of sunset and dinner cruises.
A Thai set menu including Mieng Kam, Manohra Ruam Mit, Tom Yam Goong, Goong Mang Korn-Stir Fried Phuket Lobster with Casher Nuts and Dried Chili as well as Pla Krapong Lad Prik-Deep Fried Baby Seabass Filet with Chili Sauce served on board.
Like its current counterparts, Manohra Star is built upon a traditional rice barge and offers the same quality features as the other vessels in the Manohra fleet: polished teak fittings, decorative Thai craftwork and fine celadon plateware and table settings.
Manohra Star features an open-air main deck with a large bar section, comfortable restrooms and a newly built modern kitchen on the lower deck. The dining cruise offers traditional Thai cuisine but can easily cater for a variety of custom-planned cruises on a private charter basis.
All river journeys depart from the pier located on the riverfront of the Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa. Special arrangements can be made for alternate pick-up and drop off points.
Winner of the 2005 Best Asean New Tourist Attraction Award from the Asean Tourism Association, Manohra Cruises offers the discerning traveller an intimate river cruise in a distinctively Thai setting.
