The Meeting of Board of Directors of the Siam Commercial Bank PCL.no. 6/2006 on 30 June 2006 considered the recommendation of the Nomination and Corporate Governance Committee and passed a resolution to appoint Mr. Chumpol NaLamlieng as an Advisor to the Board of Directors of the Bank, effective on 1 July 2006.
Mr. Chumpol NaLamlieng is highly qualified with distinctive knowledge, competence as well as rich experience in business and finance. He is widely recognized nationwide and internationally. Mr. Chumpol NaLamlieng once assumed the position of the Bank’s director during 1998-1999 and Chairman of the Executive Committee in 1999.
Mr. Chumpol NaLamlieng is currently Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Management Advisory Committee of The Siam Cement Public Company Limited, non-executive Chairman of Singapore Telecommunications Ltd., non-executive Director of British Airways Public Company Limited., and Executive Committee member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development.
