Deputy Interior Minister Sermsak Pongpanit recently presided over a ceremony organized by Yingluck Shinnawatra, secretary and committee member of Thaicom Foundation, to donate knocked-down houses to natural disaster victims in Phrae, Uttaradit, and Sukhothai provinces.
Local authorities in the North helped Thaicom Foundation arrange the distribution of permanent houses to flash flood victims. Officials present at the ceremony include Mr. Sukitja Karunanon, Deputy Governor of Phrae, Mr. Jakkarin Prenwong, Deputy Governor of Uttaradit, and Sukit Charoenratanakul, Governor of Sukhothai. Thaicom Foundation has spent over 100 million baht in building 500 ready-to-move-in houses to help flood and landslide victims.
