Bangkok Bank is setting up a one-stop-shop for home buyers at the 5th NPA (Non-Performing Assets) Grand Sale, which starts on Friday, offering special discounts on properties, home-loan pre-approval and the offer of mortgages of up to 110% of the appraised value.
Ms. Krongthong Karunyanaratorn, Bangkok Bank’s Property Department manager, said with the cost of living on the rise, buying one of the many discounted properties Bangkok Bank has to offer at the sale is an excellent choice for anyone, especially new home buyers.
“Bangkok Bank is offering a 10-20 percent discount on 60 selected properties from the 6,000 items we hold, which are in a number of hot locations nationwide. We have properties available in every category, including houses, condominiums, townhouses and commercial buildings as well as land,” she said.
At the fair, customers can place a reserve on a property that interests them, with only Baht 5,000.
On top of the discounted property price, Bangkok Bank will offer a special home loan interest rate of 2.99% for the first three months and 4.75% for the next 4-12 months. Alternatively, customers can choose 2.99% for the first three months and MLR-1.75% for the next 4-24 months.
Both options offer MLR-0.75% for the remainder of the loan period.
“A customer can apply for a home loan of up to 90 percent of the property value and an additional loan of up to 20 percent to cover the cost of decoration. The bank will also waive the administration fee for customers who take out a loan at the fair.”
The bank will also offer a special interest rate for customers who wish to register for a Bualuang home loan but buy or refinance from other institutions. The options are: 2.99% for the first three months and 5% for the next 4-12 months; or 2.99% for the first three months and MLR-1.5% for the next 4-24 months. For both options, the MLR will apply for the remainder of the loan period.
“The Bangkok Bank booth will also offer a home loan pre-approval and a repayment calculation service to customers, making its booth a ‘One-Stop Shop’ for customers,” Ms. Krongthong concluded.
The 5th NPA Grand Sale is open to the public and runs from Friday, July 14 to Sunday, July 16, from 10:00am to 8:00pm at the Bangkok Convention Center, Central Plaza, Lat Phrao.
