Hutch launches its “99 Satang Per Hour” promotion maintaining the most competitive tariff in the market. Competitors have cut their rates which has caused major call congestion problems. Hutch customers meanwhile can still enjoy call though success even at peak hours as their calls are run through the highly efficient CDMA network.
Mrs. Kulya Sirinavin, Vice President, Postpaid and Prepaid Marketing, Hutchison CAT Wireless MultiMedia Ltd said that "99 satang per hour per call" allows prepaid customers to enjoy calling nationwide for only 99 satang per hour for a long validity period. “Hutch is the only provider to give this low tariff rate for calling to any network for as long as 4 month period, We do not want to lure customer to low short term tariffs and afterward be surprised by expensive call rates, Despite, the current call congestion problem Thai consumer are facing, Hutch customer still enjoy on average 99% call success rate within the network and 93% call success across networks, This is the unique benefit that Hutch offers its customers under Always Great Value promise.”
Customers are set as a default to “99 satang per hour” promotion when activated from today until August 31, 2006. Customers can make a call to any number with the same 99 satang rate nationwide starting from midnight to 16.00 hrs. From 16.00 hrs to midnight the first minute call is only Bt3 and the next minute is 99 satang per minute. The promotion is valid for 4 moths, starting from the activation date.
Hutch also launches today a free call program for prepaid customers. Customers who select any one of these handsets—Motorola W150i, Motorola W200, Nokia 2255 and Samsung SCH-S169-- starting from today until August 31, 2006 will receive a free prepaid SIM card and free unlimited Hutch to Hutch calls, while call to the other networks are charged at the same “99 satang per hour” rate, both are valid for 180 days starting from activation date. For the free SIM that comes with the phone, Hutch also offers Bt300 call value package with which customer will receive Bt50 worth of calls per month for six months.
