Countries have to trade with each other in Globalization. In the past, there was the expansion of colonization for economic benefits, so there was no justice. Nowadays it is essential that there should be justice in every society in all contexts.
In 2006, there will be an international conference “International Justice” which will be held during July 31 st — August 4 th, 2006 at Assumption University Bang Na Campus. It is the 22 nd General Assembly of International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU). The conference will gather many experts from catholic universities.
200 experts from international universities will meet to think about the ways to support justice in world society. Education institution is the center of knowledge, science and culture which has mission to educate all things to youth, society and the country. Educating Justice to youth is very important too.
Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran, f.s.g., Ph.D., President of Assumption University gave more details that this conference has its purpose of supporting and doing justice in the world. All participants consist of experts in the field of Justice participating to seek the ways to get the conclusion on the matter. The conclusion is beneficial to faculty members, students and everyone in the society. It will do justice in the world.
In 2006 the Kingdom of Thailand celebrates the Diamond Jubilee Anniversary of H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s Accession to the Throne and Assumption University also holds the conference about International Justice. This conference is beneficial to everyone in the world, to publicize and promote Thai culture, lifestyle and the country.
The participants will be given warm welcome from students of Assumption University which is the international university. They will learn Thai art, culture and spirit of Thai people from participating in activities: Thai music, Thai musical performance and Thai food.
The participants of the conference will receive conveniences from Students of Assumption University. During the conference, they will stay at Assumption University Bang Na Campus. After the conference, they will visit important places in Thailand.
