Thai Airways International Public Company Limited, as one of the sponsors for the Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2006, an international horticultural exposition for His Majesty the King will offer ‘Thai Value Card to the Royal Flora Ratchaphruek’, a special rate card to Chiang Mai for only 4,000 Baht per card, starting from October 1st, 2006. In addition the company will increase flight frequencies to Chiang Mai and arrange aircraft rotation to larger one.
Mr.Rangsiman Mokkhasmit, Director of Area Thailand of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited revealed that ‘To mark the momentous occasion of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne, Thai Value Card offers two roundtrip Bangkok-Chiang Mai air tickets on economy class of 8,000 Baht a set (price of 4,000 Baht per card including tax and other charges). In the meantime, for public traveling from southern destinations including Phuket, Krabi, Surat Thani and Hat Yai, to Chiang Mai at 7,500 Baht. From northeastern destinations including Khon Kaen, Ubon Ratchathani and Udon Thani to Chiang Mai at 6,500 Baht and more privileges.’
‘In addition THAI will help smoothing the operation for the horticultural exposition by increasing flight frequencies to Chiang Mai, arranging aircraft rotation to larger aircraft types, offering food services from Puff & Pie as well as offering air ticket at special rates on international routes for members of the working group and press visiting the Royal Flora Ratchphruek. The company will also promote the event by publicizing in all destinations operated by THAI including features in the Kinnaree and Sawasdee inflight magazines.’
