Logitech V450 and V150 redefines mobile performance with precision laser tracking, while Logitech G3 Laser Mouse Features Ambidextrous Design
Logitech (SWX: LOGN) (NASDAQ: LOGI) today announced two new Laser Mice in its family of Notebook Mice, the Logitech V450 Laser Cordless Mouse and Logitech V150 Laser Mouse for Notebooks. Both mice offer Logitech’s Laser technology, delivering smoother cursor control and precision tracking in an ultra-compact, ambidextrous design. Additional, Logitech has extended its award-winning family of G-series peripherals to offer high-performance gaming features to a broader range of gamers, with the launch of Logitech G3 Laser Mouse.
Logitech V450 Laser Cordless Mouse
To help make people people more comfortable and efficient when using a notebook PC, the Logitech V450 Laser Cordless Mouse for Notebooks delivers a perfect blend of comfort, performance and reliability in a portable design. The V450 mouse’s soft rubber grip and contoured shape provide exceptional comfort, and the unsurpassed battery life of up to one year significantly minimizes the hassle of changing batteries.
Logitech’s laser technology delivers smooth cursor control and precision tracking on virtually any surface — giving notebook users the flexibility to use their mouse and computer wherever they want. Logitech’s 2.4 GHz digital cordless technology provides a robust wireless connection, and the plug-and-play USB micro-receiver tucks away neatly inside the mouse’s storage slot when not in use — making it a great traveler. The Logitech V450 will be available in September 2006 at a suggested retail price of Baht 1,839.
Logitech V150 Laser Mouse
The Logitech? V150 Laser Mouse for Notebooks includes precision laser tracking technology that works on more surfaces than typical optical technology, giving people the freedom to use their notebooks wherever they please. The plug-and-play USB mouse will be available in September for an affordable suggested retail price of Baht 989.
The Logitech G3 Laser Mouse
Meanwhile, Logitech announced that it has extended its award-winning family of G-series peripherals to offer high-performance gaming features to a broader range of gamers. The Logitech? G3 Laser Mouse offers Logitech?s gaming-grade, extreme-performance mouse engine in a compact, ambidextrous design, and is priced more affordably than the company?s higher-end Logitech? G5 and Logitech? G7 gaming mice.
The compact size of the Logitech G3 Laser Mouse allows gamers to use a fingertip grip, which many prefer to make quicker and bolder movements using their wrists. The mouse also includes the Logitech DryGrip surface, which helps gamers comfortably maintain a secure grip during marathon gaming sessions.
Without software installed, the button beneath the G3 mouse?s scroll wheel allows people to increase or decrease the mouse resolution on the fly from 1600 dpi to 800 dpi. With software, the mouse?s 2000 dpi maximum resolution can be adjusted to as low as 400 dpi, with a total of five settings available, allowing gamers to vary their resolution and balance their needs between maximum speed and optimum precision. By using full-speed USB, the G3 mouse delivers 500 reports per second — much faster than the 60 to 125 reports per second of traditional USB mice. The Logitech G3 Laser Mouse will be available in Thailand in next month at suggested retail price of Baht 2,239.
