True Move announced today that it is spear heading its outbound international roaming services with a special promotion packed with a range of new features. In addition to waiving the one-time application fee of 1,500 Baht, this promotion features a wealth of innovative service enhancements which include roaming while in flight. Furthermore, True Move is the only operator in Thailand to offer complete ease and convenience for prepaid international roaming subscribers with real-time dialing.

With this promotion, True Move is targeting outbound business roamers by encouraging business travelers to use True Move’s international roaming services to stay in touch with their Blackberry, Missed call Alert, and SMS/MMS/Internet services. Moreover, the campaign is offering a special discount rate on GPRS. For added convenience, True Move will provide customers with itemized call records for international roaming and international SMS/MMS services.
Another important highlight of True Move’s international roaming services will be the launch of the “Aero Mobile” service in early November which will take roaming to new heights. True Move is collaborating with a partner network to allow customers to use their own mobile phones while in flight. The service will initially be launched with three Emirates aircrafts equipped for True Move customers to use international roaming with calls routed via satellite. True Move’s international roaming subscribers can now stay connected on the ground and also in the air.
For prepaid subscribers, True Move is the only operator in Thailand to offer full real-time dialing for international roaming. While abroad True Move Prepay customers can dial directly from their phones to anywhere without complicated dialing and waiting for call back. Outbound international roaming for True Move Prepay is now available in 11 major countries including Singapore, Australia, France and Austria. Many more countries will be added during the coming months.
With outbound international roaming, True Move Prepay customers will be able to make and receive voice calls and SMS messages while abroad. Charging will be done in real-time at international roaming tariffs similar to True Move Postpay customers. While roaming, True Move Prepay customers have unlimited top-up capability using True Move scratch cards which they can take with them or they can top-up via True Money.
