Bangkok--27 Sep--Bangkok Bank
Bangkok Bank will provide seven-day-a-week banking services to tourists, staff and businesses at Suvarnabhumi Airport, with two new branches scheduled to open at the airport on 28 September.
Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President for Metropolitan Consumer Banking, Ruchanee Nopmuang said the bank’s main branch would be located at the airport’s bus terminal and would offer financial services to retail customers such as tourists, businessmen and residents around the airport. The second branch, a sub-branch, will be located in the Customs Department Zone.
Both branches will be open beyond normal banking hours from 8:30am to 6:00pm seven days a week.
To celebrate the opening of the new branches, the bank will be giving away special souvemirs to customers who open savings and fixed-term deposit accounts, or apply for other services at the new branches between September 28 and October 11.
“We understand that most customers at the new airport will have only a limited amount of time to do their banking. To meet our customers’ needs and make banking as easy as possible, we will be offering over-the-counter banking services as well as express banking ATMs and cash deposit machines,” Mrs. Ruchanee said.
Mrs. Ruchanee said services provided by the branch at the bus terminal will include Bangkok Bank’s award-winning foreign currency exchange service. This year Bangkok Bank was awarded ‘Best Foreign Exchange Bank in Thailand’ by Global Finance magazine for the fifth consecutive year, based on outstanding customer service, use of the latest technology and competitive pricing.
Services at the sub-branch in the Customs Department Zone will include currency exchange and international fund transfer services for small- and medium-sized businesses.
