The Thai Condominium Association in cooperation with Harrison will host Thailand Condo Expo 2006 between November 24 to 26 at Bangkok Convention Center, Central Plaza Ladprao. This expo is aimed to create Thailand?s new experience. There will be more than 100 projects participating including financial institutions and real estate media representatives. Special activities will be present in the expo including cyber caf?, buy/sell advisory expert team, Bangkok condominium map give-away, to name a few. It is expected that visitor number will reach 50,000. Condominium market expansion is still experiencing growth and the expo will serve as part of the growth.
Mr.Atip Bijanonda, the president of the Thai Condominium Association discloses that over the past few years, condominium market in Bangkok is growing and becoming popular not only among foreigners but also Thais. The continuing growth especially during 2005 and June 2006, condominium market is growing and the demand is steadily increasing. City people tend to live a lifestyle where they live close to their workplace.
The Thai Condominium Association?s primary role is to develop the growing market and to lift the condominium standards in Thailand. In addition, the association has launched PR campaigns to stimulate buying activities among potential clients. In cooperation with Harrison, the association will stage the Thailand Condo Expo 2006. This event will, first time ever, gather all condominium projects in big cities, provinces including resorts and beach house. Financial institution will also be present at the expo to supply relevant information about loans. The expo will be held between November 24-26, 2006 at Bangkok convention Center, Central Plaza Ladprao. Number of participating companies is expected to exceed 100.
”The expo will be the first of its kind to gather condominium projects for customer to have wide array of choice. Additional services related to real estate projects such as financial service, sales agent and so forth will also be present at the expo. Clients will have access to full information relating to buying a condominium” added Mr.Atip
Mr.Atip further adds that there will be a lot of activities in the expo. Cyber cafe will give an opportunity to visitors to get information about interesting projects through computer system. Expert advices on how to buy a condominium are also ready for anyone interested. Center stage will also be crowded with activities. It is expected that 50,000 visitors both Thais and foreigners will attend the expo.
Mr. Kitisak Champathippong, Executive Vice President of Harrison PLC, discloses that the condominium market is now very popular. During the past few years, the growth is highly noticed whereas the growth rate of other property or real estate projects has slowed down. Thailand Condo Expo 2006 is an effort to stimulate the growth. It is estimated that more than 30 participating companies who are Harrison?s client base will join the expo. The expo will also set a new standard of a condominium in Thailand. The gatherings of more projects in the expo endorse the fact that the condominium market has grown and will be growing significantly in Thailand.
